Anniversary Assembly

Last Monday we celebrate the 161 birthday of our school with a big ceremony who included musical presentations of our junior and senior students. To start the ceremony our headmaster Gregor Polson, wearing the traditional kilt, sent to our dear community an important message:

“The school is old (161 years old) and its traditions have been established, however, we should never forget, that it also can change, as we all strive to make our school, ourselves, the other people around us, better.

For you, the students, there should be personal enhancement and the unshakeable believe, that you can be better than you were yesterday.

As teachers, we can also improve, by trying to better understanding our students and their individual needs so that we can help them achieve their goals and dreams.”

El lunes pasado celebramos el cumpleaños Nº 161 de nuestro Colegio, con una gran ceremonia que incluyó las presentaciones musicales de nuestros alumnos de Junior y Senior. Para comenzar la ceremonia, nuestro rector Gregor Polson, vistiendo el tradicional “kilt”, envió a nuestra querida comunidad un importante mensaje:

” El colegio es antiguo  (161 años) y sus tradiciones ya están establecidas, sin embargo, nunca debemos olvidar que también pueden cambiar, a medida que todos nos esforcemos para hacer de nuestro colegio, de nosotros, de la gente que nos rodea, mejor.

Para ustedes, los estudiantes,  debe ser una mejora personal y la convicción inquebrantable, de que pueden ser mejores de lo que fueron ayer.

Como profesores, podemos mejorar, tratando de entender mejor a nuestros alumnos y  sus necesidades individuales, para que podamos ayudarlos a lograr sus metas y sueños.”
