Mr. Sutherland’s great grandson visits Mackay

Mr. Nigel Armstrong, and his wife Angela visited the school. Mr. Armstrong is the great grandson of Mr. George Sutherland.
The Armstrong’s, who live in England, were making their first visit to Chile, although Nigel’s mother Marguerita Sutherland was born and grew up in Valparaiso.
Mr. Armstrong told many stories that had been passed down to him about Mr. Sutherland, and whilst here met the Headmaster and (very briefly) the Head Boy and Deputies.
We hope their stay in the rest of Chile is an enjoyable one and hope they enjoyed their visit to The Mackay School
